Game idea
Recently I've had the idea of a game where the player is a fish, BUT you're not in the water, you're on land. Just a gasping fish flopping about.
I'm gonna try to break it down as follows:
You move around in a 2D top down perspective in a grid, sorta like the old Pokemon/Zelda games. You have to avoid getting caught, but you also have to find puddles/watersources to regain "air".
I'm going to try to use Godot (3.5) to make it in, this will be my second game (honestly, the first game was more of a tantrum than a game but whatevs!)
TODO (for now):
Design
☐ - I do need to figure out the question, why are you there? (story/character motivation)
☐ - What can you do aside from flopping/moving on a grid?
Programming
☐ - Movement controls
☐ - Collision with other entities
☐ - Interact with objects
Maybe I should look into making a Trello board? :/ hmm decisions, decisions...
